What managed operations covers
A rented server is a bare machine. Somebody has to apply security patches, watch disk space, renew certificates, check that backups actually restore, and be reachable when nothing answers on a Sunday evening.
We take that load on servers we already administer for our own platforms. It is not a catalogue line opened for the occasion: it is the work we do every day on our own assets.

Location and sovereignty
We operate in Switzerland and in the European Union. Location is not decoration: we give you in writing where primary data, backups and logs live, and we do not use a host whose copies travel elsewhere without your knowledge.

Deploying without cutting
Going live should not be an event. We use a reproducible deployment chain with atomic switchover and immediate rollback, the same for an editorial site and for a commerce platform. A faulty version is withdrawn in seconds rather than repaired live.

Can you take over an existing server?
Yes, and it is a frequent request. We start with an inventory of what actually runs on the machine, which often holds surprises, then take operations over in stages rather than in one risky switch.
Are backups really tested?
Yes. A backup that has never been restored is a hypothesis. We restore periodically onto a separate environment and hand you the result, including how long the restore actually took.
What recovery time do you guarantee?
It is defined with you, based on what an hour of downtime costs your business. We prefer a modest commitment that is kept to a flattering one that is theoretical, and we publish a monthly report of the real interruptions.
